Here is another movie that I’d have to put into my ten best movies for the genre of family. I don’t think that this movie was given the accolades that it should have gotten. It did win the Teens Choice Award for 2009.

Even though most sequels blow, this one didn’t in fact, I found Night at the Museum even funnier than the original movie. There are lines that you just say over and over again. If you have seen the first movie then you will recognize quite a few of the same characters, plus a few more from the Smithsonian museum.

The plot is simple our hero Larry played by Ben Stiller has to save the tablet from the evil hands of Kahmunrah played by Hank Azaria. He collects more bad guys to help him thwart Larry including Capone, Ivan the Terrible and Napoleon.

Larry collects his own band of goodies as he roams through the museum hiding from Kahmunrah and plotting a way to resolve these issues. He runs into Amelia Earhart and finds a woman worthy of the adventure.

I think this is a great download movie. You can watch it alone or with the family and enjoy it.
