Captain America: The First Avenger is one of the best movies of the year. Directed by Joe Johnston and starting Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, and Natalie Dormer, the film follows Steve Rogers (Evans), a small guy who was born during the Great Depression. He tries to join the army, but was rejected for his small stature. General Chester Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) comes in and offers Rogers an opportunity to become part of a top-secret mission. After weeks of testing, Rogers is given a serum that turns him into a super-solder. After three months of intense training, Captain America recieves his first assignment to protect the world against evil, which he fights with the Avengers.
