Do you remember as a child reading or having Alice in Wonderland read to you? Then the Disney version of the book came out and it was superior. This year we have a new turn on Alice in Wonderland and this movie does what Charlie and the Chocolate factory did for Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It takes an old standby and twists it for a new generation.

With Tim Burton as the producer and Johnny Depp taking on the role of the Mad Hatter we knew that great things would happen, and they do in 3d action that will hold you spell bound as you are taken down the rabbit hole and a new adventure unrolls.

Everyone will love this movie and the 3d special effects are fantastic and awe inspiring, but I think that this version definitely makes young girls think about the possibilities in their lives and like Alice they will come away from this movie feeling empowered and ready to start on their own life adventures.
